It was time for me to leave the packhouse. I stood up from the stools and picked up a few things I might be needing. I'll be gone for a day or two. I suddenly felt stranged and I felt like throwing up. I rushed to the bathroom and poured out the content in my stomach. I groaned. "Vampire's vomit". I rinsed my mouth and went back to sit down. I feel suddenly sick and dizzy at the same time. My eyes were closed. "A little bit of rest won't kill, right?" I thought. I decided to lay down for a while. I don't know how much I slept but when I woke up, it was already midnight. The headache was severe and my eyes were dimmed. I sat up and groaned. The door opened and Elmira walked in with a bowl of water. "You're awake?". I rolled my eyes. "You passed out. I thought you were dead or something". I groaned. "Did you pull off my shirt?". She nodded. "How dare you touch me!!". She sighed. "I had no option". I hissed. "And what's this for?". I pointed at the bowl. "You were running temperature, so I went to get water to help bring it down". "I can't run temperature, ok. I'm cold-blooded, ok?". She smiled. "You can check it out yourself". I placed my hand on my forehead. She wasn't lying. I was running temperature, not much though. That's the first time I've ever felt like this. I rolled my eyes and stood up. I rushed to the window and my eyes widened. "It's the full moon, already?". She nodded and I groaned. I turned to face her. "Did you drug me?". She chuckled nervously. "No, why will I want to do that?". I hissed and brushed my hair backward. I hit the wall angrily. This has to be mom's handiwork!!. I groaned. I walked back to the couch and picked up my shirt. "Where are you going?". "It's none of your business!!" I yelled. She sighed. "Sorry". I ignored her and walked to the door. I suddenly felt weak and dizzy again. This time, I could feel a strange sensation. I hissed. I shouldn't be feeling this, not with Elmira in here. I tried to open the door but I couldn't. "I'll help". She stretched her hand and I did the same. Our hands touched and I felt some sparkle. I withdraw my hand immediately and held my head.   "Are you ok?" She asked, concerned. She made to touch me. "Don't touch me" I yelled. Arden's words kept replaying in my head. 'Let's see how long you can resist her". I hissed and punched the wall

"Damien?" She called. Her voice was intoxicating too. Although it's the full moon and I was supposed to have the urge but it shouldn't be this strong. I've got this feeling that mom had a hand in it. I hissed. "Open the door, I nee d to leave" . She opened the door and I walked out of the studio. I couldn't go far. I wasn't even seeing well. My eyes' color wasn't the usual blue or red which shows my anger. I couldn't tell the color. I went to the room and lay down. I must have passed out again. I woke up with a start. I blinked my eyes. The headache has reduced drastically and so is the dizziness. I looked outside the window. It's still midnight. I hissed and made for the bathroom. I was close to the bathroom when Elmira stepped out. I furrowed my brows. "How did you get in?" . She rolled her eyes. "The door wasn't closed?" . I groaned. I thought I did. I sighed and wal ked past her into the bathroom. I didn't both er coming out of the bathroom until morning. * * . The days moved slowly into a month. Now, It's been a month after our wedding and after the full moon. Everything has been normal. I spend my t ime at work and Elmira spends most of hers at school and sometimes with Maya. Though we still have a little bit of misunderstanding here and th ere, we've learned to tolerate each other. Not too well though. Mom had surprisingly gone back to her coven. I still suspect she had a plan B. Elmira had been making me feel so jealous lately, too. And so many times I had to control not just myself but also my anger. I have to admit the fact that my recent wa ves of anger ain't from provocation but pure jealousy. I don't know why I get this jealous. Maya told me it's love but I don't believe in that. Most of the time, she vi sits me at the office with one or two of her male coursemates. Right now, that's exactly what she just did. The guys bowed and I glared at them. "Hey, Alpha" she cooed. I rolled my ey es. "What are y ou doing here?" . She chuckled. "Ain' t you suppose to wel come your visitors?" . I hissed. "I ain't in for jokes. Tell me wha t are you doing here?" . She chuckled. "Melvin, Daniel. Can you please wait for me outs ide?". They bowed and left. She chuckled. "Well,  there's will be a party at school, today. I only came to tell you that" . I rolled my eye s. "And you're j ust telling me?" . She chuckled. "You've been busy lately. And r emember, we don't talk" . I hissed. "You're going like this?". She was dressed in a blue bum shot and cropped top. She batted her lashes . "There's nothing wr ong with this right?" . I hissed

"Y ou ain't goi ng anywhere" . "You're joking right?" . I hissed. " Not dressed like this" . She pouted. " What's wrong w ith my cloth?" . I hissed. "Ju st go back to the packhouse" . She whined. "That isn't fair". I ignored her and get to work . She kept whining but I ignored her. I can't believe she go t dressed In that revealing clothes, just to attend a party. * * . I walked into the room. Elmira was writing, I guess. She stood up when she saw me. "Your mom asked me to give you this". I collected it from her. It was a little bottle. I rolled my eyes. Ever since I stopped her from going to the party, she had refused to talk to me. I opened it and sniffed it. It was a deer's blood. But why in this small quantity?. "Did she tell you, what I should do with it?". She ignored me. I sighed and opened it. I drank it. She made to leave but I held her. "Hey, are you still angry with me?". She ig nored me. And made to leave but I blocked her. She was close to the wall. I stared at her without saying a word. She looked a bit scared and I smirked. I moved closer to her and she moved backward. I held her, moved her slowly to the wall, and then held her cheeks. Slowly, I placed my lips on her. At first, she didn't respond but after a while, she reciprocated the kiss and I smiled. I have always wanted this. I kissed her hungrily as my life depends on it. She wraps her hand around my shoulder and I lift her slowly. Without breaking the kiss, I took her to the bed and made her lie on her back. I yanked off he r top and she gasped. From the look on her face, I knew she wanted this, just like I've been longing to have her in my arms. I stared at her cute little face. I can't stay away from her anymore. I can't control my desire anymore. I lift her a bit and placed my bare hands on her back. She shivered a little. I kissed her neck and she released soft brea th on my face. I reach for her bra, unhooking it. I took off the bra and she placed her hands over it. I pulled her hand away and she placed them on her face. "Hey, look at me. You're beautiful, ok?". She nodded. I sucked her bosom and she moaned in pleasure. I smirked. I like the effect, I'm having on her. I lowered my face there and bit her nipple. "Ah" she gasped lightly as it gave her vibrations. "Damien" sh e moaned my name more in a whisper. She gripped my head to her chest and sent her fingers into my hair caressing it softly. "Should I?" I asked an d she nodded . I rested my forehead on hers again and moved my hands to her waist. I pulled off all her clothes and she shud dered a little and I rolled my eyes. I suddenly began to lose control. I was already losing my mind and I cou ld hardly tell what was wrong with me. My eyes were getting dimmer and what happened next I couldn't remember
