Eric's POV. Today that night has also arrived! Which I had been avoiding for a long time. Angela was sleeping in the bed next to me. There is a bowl in the tray, from which the aroma of porridge is coming. When I see that, I get infuriated. "Erish, I know that you have forbidden me from going to the kitchen, so I did not cook this food, but it was prepared by our home chef. " She explained to me with a warry smile and I breathed in relief. I didn't want her to get hurt again like last time. After she had finished her explanation, she placed the tray on the small table which was next to the large bed and she sat down on the chair which was also next to the bed. "You didn't need t o do all this," I s aid looking at her. She picked up the bowl from the tray and then took the food in the spoon and brought it to my lips and said - "How could that be??? As your wife, it is my duty to take care of my husband if he is ill. On hearing this, my heartfelt warmth and I s tarted looking deeply into her eyes and at th at time there was a slight smile on her face. "Now open your mouth! " She ordered me and I didn't refuse her. She started to feed me and I was like a discipli ned child who didn't say any words at all and jus t concentrated on eating without making any fuss. Day by day I started to be attracted to her like never did before where my heart and my mind didn't support my rejection towards her or hurt her feelings anyway. When I finished the porridge, she smiled widely with s atisfaction and then took the tray, bowl and left the room. I chuckled lightly seeing her childish behavior. *Cra ck!! !!!!* . While I was smiling thinking all this then suddenly a heavy sound of breaking something came on my ears and that sound was of breaking of some glass and as soon as I thought of this, t he first thought of Angela came to me, who just a while back was carrying a bowl and tray

Thinking this, I got up from my bed in panic and immediatel y tried to go outside the room and look but then another vo ice fell on my ears, which was her scream, a Painful scream. "An gela !!!" . Hearing that my heart sank and I immediately ran towards the ladde r where I found Angela standing. Seeing her safe and sound, m y heart was relieved and I im mediately reached out to her. My eyes went down the ladder, where the bowl and the tray were broken into thous ands of pieces and scattered all around. "Angela, Are you okay? " I asked her, cupping her face with my hands. Her face was looking pale and it felt like she was in so much pain and then I realized that she was pressi ng her right arm with another hand. I asked her again. "Angela, What happened to your hand?? " . I was so sca red to see h er like this. "Er. Erish. my hand! " Her forehead becomes sweat y and her face is full of pain. She was biting her lip s restlessly. Like she was trying to endure the pain. I looked carefully at her right arm. which was very badly swol len and could be seen clearly. I was stunned to see this because there was nothing like this last ni ght and just a while ago she fed me with her right hand but all that time my eyes were not on her hands but all my attention on her face.
