No One Pov's . Aaron was still seated on the ground, not able to process everything, and his wolf, Rex, was whimpering in pain, losing all his hope to mate with Alice. When Aana is taking time to accept this mate bond, Rex and Alice already fall in love with each other. Rex lost all hope and was growling in pain and Aaron was trying to understand everything. His mind revolved around Aana's words of rejection. He took a deep breath. "I Aaron smith accept" . "No" Rex interrupts him. "How can you accept her rejection?" . "Then you only tell me what should I do? Aana doesn't want us, Rex" he mumbled and wiped his tears. He looks at his tears which remind him of Alice who wipes her tears lovingly. "I swear Aaron that I only love you and Rex" A smile broke on Aaron's lips remembering Alice's words. He started remembering what she said before when Aana rejected her job offer. 'I know Aana's behaviour was not good but please don't give up on us. At least for me'. 'She might say, she doesn't want you but believe me in reality, we both need you and Rex. We both want someone to love us in this brutal world'. 'I love you both will all my heart and believe me, I will die instead of choosing someone else as my mate'. 'Then for her don't leave us. She is alone just like me'. Aaron took a deep breath as realisation hit him. He realised that by accepting Aana's rejection, he will lose the only person who loves him in this world, and above that, he realised what Alice wanted to convey to him about Aana. She wanted to tell him, that they wanted him to not give up on her and Aana. Alice wanted Aaron to understand that no matter what Aana says or does, he has to make efforts to win Aana's heart. Alice conveyed only one message to him: to never lose hope and give up on her and Aana as she also needs someone to love her and care about her. Aaron started remembering their second meeting when he saved Aana before she got hit by a car. 'Why did you save me? I wanted to die,' Aaron closed his eyes. He can't even imagine the pain through which Aana is going on and says those words. He started remembering all the moments when he observed her teary eyes. When he felt her loneliness behind her silence. Aaron opened his eyes and wiped his tears. "I will not give up on you both, Alice. Moon goddesses bind us together to fill the emptiness of each other's lives. I will not give up on you both. I will not" Aaron muttered. "You mean to say, we still had a hope to win our mate," Rex asked hopefully. "I don't want to give you any false hope Rex. All I can say is we won't give up on our mate" . "Don't know how Alice is bearing the pain. She must be crying" Rex muttered sadly. His words reminded me of Aana. Alice's words hurt her so much that she even rejected us in anger. She was panicking while talking to us. I hope she is okay. Aana entered her room furiously. Alice was still crying in pain which Aana ignored as it was Alice's words that made her so furious that she rejected Aaron. Aana took her clothes from her wardrobe and went inside the washroom

She opened the shower and stood under the water to cool off her anger. Tears welled up in her eyes remembering Alice's words. 'Then for her don't leave us. She is alone just like me. The person whom she love s is dead. She has no one to love her. she will forget him with time and move on with you. This mate bond will make her forget her first love after all he is dead' . Aana sat on the ground, not able to balance herself. She remembered the day when her first love propose d to her and she accepted. She started remembering the moments she spent with Vince and then on her eng agement day when her enemy killed Vince. He died in her arms. Aana started crying sitting on the floor. "Vince" She screamed remembering the moment when he closed his eyes and took his last breath in her arms. Aana lay down on the ground crying miserably while Alice's situation was no different. She was also crying in pain at losing her mat e. Alice wanted to take revenge on Aana or scold her but seeing her like this, not a single word came out of her mouth. Alice is now understanding the pain of Aana. She said those words without thinking anything but Aana's one move made her realise that it is easy to say move on or time will make you forget everything but no one can understand the pain of separation that person went through. Don't know when Aana stayed under the water. She started shivering, h er skin turned white because of the water. She was lost in her pain. That's when someone knocked on her bathroom door making her startled. "Aana" Her eyes widened upon hea ring the voice. She wiped her te ars and stood up from the ground. "Aana. Are you okay? Open the door Aana" Aaron yelled, tapping on the doo r. Aana was shocked to hear his voice. "Mate" Alice muttered and howled in Aana's mind out of happiness. Aana opened the door to confirm whether she was he aring his voice in reality or it was all his imagination. In the next second, he pulled her into a hug, making her r ealise that she was not dreaming. He is standing there for her. He broke the hug and looked at her from head to toe. "From how long you were inside the washroom?" He asked. Aana was still shocked to answer anyt hing. He removed his coat and made her wear it. "Why are you so careless?" he screeched and turned off t he knob of the shower. He brought her inside the room an d made her sit on the sofa then started rubbing her hand. "Wh--What are you doing here" Aa na stuttered because of shiverin g. Aaron looked at her abruptly. "Wasn't my rejection a clear picture for you?" Aana frowned , detaching her hand from his. "She had told me not to gi ve up on her," Aaron mutte red, leaving her stunned. "Change your clothes. I'm waiting for you outside the room. " He muttered and went outside the room. Aana was still not able to believe that he was here in reality. "You tried your best Aana to push him away but it seems like the moon goddess had other plans for you," Alice said with a big smile on her face

Aana di dn't reply to her and went into the washroom to change her clothes. All the time, Aaron's thoughts were roaming in her mind. It was hard for her to belie ve that he came here despite her rejecting him and that's when she remembered her mom's words which she told her when Vince proposed to her for marriage. "The person who loves you never stopped loving you, no matter how much you pushed him away. He will always come towards you whenever you need him an d if he comes then believe me, no one can love you more than that person" . Aana shook her head to think something like this for Aaron where Alice laughed at h er human stupidity. She knows that Aana had some feelings for Aaron but she was negl ecting them, thinking that she will do wrong to Vince by moving on, which is wrong. "I have never seen a stupid and naive girl like you in my entire life" Alice mocked her human who was trying her best not to feel good because Aaron came. She opened the door and came outside only to find Aaron sitting on the couch, waiting for her. He looks at her with the sound of the door openin g then comes towards her. "Are you okay?" He asked in con cern. She moved back when Aaron was about to touch her cheeks. "Why did you come here? " She asked about mainta ining poker expressions. "I think I answered th is question already" He replied with a smile. "I re jecte d you" . "And I didn't accept that rejection. " He shrug ged his shoulders. Aana looked at him helpless ly, not able to understand what she should do. "Let's not drag this topic. I came here to a pologise to you on behalf of Rex and Alice. They didn't mean to hurt your feelings Aana" . "But they did," Aana mumbled in a heavy v oice. Only she knows how she is controllin g herself from not crying in front of him. "I understand how you felt that time because like no one can replace Vince in your life in the same wa y in my life no one can" He clamped up, realising that it was not the right time to confess his feelin gs. He understood that the more he will try to come closer to Aana, the more she will try to run away. "Aana" Before he co uld say something A ana interrupted him. "I don't want to listen to anything, Aaron. Aft er what Alice said, it is enough for me to know how much you all three care about my emotions" . "Believe me, s he doesn't mea n those words. "You wanted to say that she doesn't mean that I will move on with you?" She aske d. Aaron bows his eyes because he knows Alice meant all those words, it's just th at her way was wrong. He was about to say something but she showed him his hand. "Please leave," Aana m uttered. He looked at her with pleading eyes. "Leave my house and life. Please" She pleaded, emphas ising on the word, please. "Aana please und erstand and forg ive us… Please. "Ok…I will forgive you but only on one condit ion" Aana said, hearing her wolf who was plea ding to her to listen to their mate's request. "Yeah fine. I accept your ev ery condition" . "First listen to it before accepting" Aaron smiled and vanished upon heari ng her words which kind of scared her. "S ay " . "You have to accept my rejection" Aana muttered, making the gr ound slip under Aaron's feet. He was dumbstruck after hearing her condition, not able to understand what he should do or say.
