No one Pov's . Aana rushed inside her flat and that's when she realised that she was outside the whole night. She turned her head and looked in the direction of his brother's room, the doors were closed indicating that they don't have any idea about Aana's missing. She wiped her tears and laughed at her condition. "No one cares about me. " She mumbled to herself and unwanted tears rolled from her eyes. "Whether I'm alive or die nobody cares" . She went inside her room and closed the door. She sat on the ground while resting her body on the door, crying bitterly as loneliness was eating her up. "If you hate to be alone then why did you push our mate away from us?" Alice asked her. Tears stopped from her eyes and her expression paled up. "What happened? Answer me" . "Choose between him and me, Alice" Aana mumbled and wiped her tears when no reply came from Alice. She stood up to freshen up. She took a step towards the wardrobe when suddenly the light went off in her room. "Wh--What happened?" She stuttered and started breathing heavily. She was shivering in fear despite being able to see everything clearly because of Alice's werewolf power. She tried to open the door but it was locked from the outside. "open the door" She screamed tapping on the door…. "Relax Aana. Light just went off. we can see everything clearly then why you're getting panic" Alice muttered trying to calm her human but it all went in vain. Aana started tapping on the door with full force, panicking where her wolf, Alice, was trying to talk to her to calm her but Aana was not listening to her. Aana's whole focus is on the fact that she was inside a dark room. She started breathing heavily, not able to think rationally. "Brother… Elsa… Please open the door" She screamed and fell to the ground, not able to stand properly as her legs were shivering. She was having a severe panic attack where Elsa was laughing outside the room, hearing Aana's scream. She went outside the flat where Aana's brother was waiting for her. She smiled and locked the door from outside. "What happened? Today you're smiling like you won a lottery" John asked looking at his wife smiling, showing her teeth. "Yeah, I'm. " She muttered and kissed John's lips. Dancing in her mind thinking about Aana. Yesterday John asked her to be gentle with Aana and they had a little argument over it. She was furious at Aana. That's why she thought to take revenge on Aana. She sent John outside the flat and then switched off all the lights after locking Aana's room from the outside

Aaron was standing near the car opposite of the building where Aana stayed, waiting for her to come outside to have a conversation with her about last night. With every passing second his wolf was getting restless feeling something is not good. He waited passionately ignoring his wolf who was jumping in his mind, going crazy for Aana. He waited but when Aana didn't come out of the building even after an hour, he couldn't hold himself and went inside the building and then rushed towards Aana's flat. He was stunned seeing the door was locked from the outside. He tapped on the door thinking Aana might have left and he didn't see her despite his eyes being on the building door only. "Aana" He called her but no response came. He was about to go after tap ping on the door a few more times. That's when he heard a sound of low b reathing coming from inside and someone low whispered to open the door. "Please open the door" Aana whispered, lying on the floor, her whole face turned red as she was breathing heavily because of a pani c attack. Thanks to Aaron's werewolf hearing power, he heard Aana's voice and it was enough for him to understand that his girl is n ot okay. He broke the lock with his hand using his Alpha power and rushed towards Aana's room hearing the sound of her heavy breath. He broke the do or of the room and went inside. "Aana" He kne els and taps on her cheeks. "A an a" . "Please open the door. please" she mumbled. Her eyes were closed and her whole face was red as she was not able to breathe properly becaus e of a panic attack, thanks to Alice that her health didn't get worse. "Aana, open your eyes, baby," Aaron said and tapped on her cheeks. "The door is opened. see… Please open your eyes" He requested and a tear fell from her eyes on her cheeks, seeing her l ike this. Aana opened her eyes and looked at him. She was still not able to breathe properly. He attached her body with his and moved his hand on her back to calm her and i t worked, soon she started calming, inhaling her mate's scent, realising she i s not alone. Someone is there for her who will not leave her in this darkness. A tear rolled from her eyes realising that she is now safe and with her mate but in the next m oment her expression changed hearing his words. "I can't see you like this baby. Please open your eyes" She parted away from him and looked into his eyes, she was amused seeing him c rying that too for her whom he met a day ago. She forgot everything even though she was panicking a while ago. All she could feel is his love and concern for her. She wiped his tears lovingly where he was staring at her. He was about to wipe her tears but she held his hand. "Don't" She mumbled and pushed his hand away. He felt bad about it but didn't say anything and distanced himself from her. She cursed herself in mind for making him upset and pushing his ha nd away, she already started missing his touch where he smiled after seeing her back to normal. "Are you okay?" He asked. "h uh ?"

"You were panicking w hen I came here. What happened?" He asked. "it's non e of your business" . "it is my business" She looked at him abruptly, hearing him. concern was visible in his eyes for her. She gulped and then turned her face t o the other side, not wanting to fall in love seeing this side of him. "I'm afraid of darkness… All of a sudden the lights went off and I panicked despite be ing able to see everything then" She clamped up and a tear welled up in her eyes. she w iped them quickly from the corner of her eyes but her tears didn't go unnoticed by him. "Do you have som ething in the ki tchen?" he asked. "W ha t?" . "I'm starving. Do you have something to eat?" he again asked while Aana was looking at him, shockingly not able to believe t hat someone could ask something like this in such a situation. "Your expression says you don't know anything about cooking" He mocked when she di dn't reply to anything. Aana rolled her eyes at his comment and went towards the k itchen to prepare something for him where Aaron laughed looking at her expression. "It will be fun to tease her," He thought and smiled at his success to divert her mind. He stood up and went outside and found Aana lost in her thoughts. That's when he remembered her sister-in-law's words. "She is living here for fre e. It wasn't enough that now she wants free food also. "If she wants to eat something the n she has to earn" . Aaron sighed underst anding her problem. Her eyes went on him. "What is your name?" she asked, surprising him. Rex share d about him and Aaron with Alice when Aana was blocked in her mind. That's why till now Aana didn't know his name. "Aaron Smit h" He repli ed shortly. "ok… So, Aaron , what do you want to eat?" . "Whatever you want to prepare," He said with a big smile, loving the way she sta rted taking interest in talking with him. " Ok " . "You will not use the ration kept in the kitchen," he mut tered. she narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean?" . "I mean who knows what low kind of ingredients you have stored and how old they are. I will order the ingredients and you will p repare the food. Got it" he said in one go whatever came to his mind, not realising the meaning behind his words. His eyes sho t up when he realised what he uttered, in the heat of a moment, and looked at Aana who was fuming in anger and ready to kill him
