Aaron Pov's . I was sitting inside my car thinking about everything that happened between me and Aana, not able to believe that she moved on so easily. She used to tell me that she loves me and wants to spend her life with me… It was all a hoax. her words, her love, and she, everything is a hoax. She never loved me but used me as time passed. Tears rolled from my eyes, realising that now she belongs to someone else and I have no right over her and her love. For a second there was no limit to my happiness when I thought she might be pregnant with my child but the very next moment my illusion broke like a shattered piece of glass. "She moved on, Rex" I mumbled to my wolf who was also in pain seeing our mate with someone else. We reject her but the feelings are still the same. We loved her and no matter how many pieces she will break us, our feelings will remain the same and we will love her till eternity. "She is here," Rex said, widening my eyes. I moved my hand on the glass of the window of my car to see outside. Last night, after I left NGO, heavy rainfall started because of this I had to park my car at the side of the road to avoid an accident. I was sitting inside the car thinking about the beautiful memories that I spent with Aana. The snowfall stopped half an hour ago but the roads are still covered with snow because of this I have to wait till military people come and clean the road. But it is impossible for any human to come outside in this weather right now. Nor do I care about it as I was lost in remembering the precious moments of my life that I spent with her. I was lost in my thoughts when Aana's smell hit my nose, the smell which I can't forget in my entire life. The worst part is her smell is combined with blood. I tried to open the door of the car but because of the snow, it got jammed. Before I could use my full force, Rex took control of my body and broke the door using his Alpha power. 'My poor precious car' Rex growled at me. He morphed into a wolf and ran in the direction from where our mate's smell was coming. He was running at his highest speed, terrified with the thought of our mate being out in such weather that too when she is carrying a child, not able to morph into a wolf in extreme cold. She is just like a human during this pregnancy period. "Aana" I frowned… I'm sure she didn't think wisely before coming out, being careless as usual. She never thinks about herself. After a long run, we finally saw her, lying on the ground shivering badly because of the cold. "Aana" Rex shouted and rushed towards her. He gave control to me when we reached her. I sat beside her, gazing at her shockingly. She was breathing heavily, closing her eyes. "Aaron" she mumbled. I touched her cheeks which were cold as deep ice and her whole face turned red and her lips were shivering. "Aaron" . "Yes. I'm here" I mumbled tapping her cheeks. She opened her eyes slowly… A smile appeared on her shivering lips. she touched my cheeks with her trembling hand. "Aaron. " tears fall from her eyes

No matter how many reasons she gives me to cry, I can't see a single tear in her eyes. "How are you?" she asked, leaving me dumbstruck. She is shiv ering badly in the cold, laying on the ground and asking me how I'm… she is worried for me despite trembling in the cold. "I'm fine" I mu mbled, holding h er hand in mine. "Thanks to the moon goddess that you're safe" she mumbled, hold ing my arms, crying miserably but still having her beautiful sm ile, seeing me secure beside her. I pulled her into a warm hug. "Why did you come out in such weather?" I asked, despite knowing the answer, that she came out in the snow just to find me. I don't want t o accept this. After a lot of debate with myself, I elucidated myself that she doesn't love me. she doesn't care for me. Now if she sa id she came here for me then I don't know how I will be able to control myself and my feelings for her which I buried deep inside my heart. "I . I came here for y--you" She stuttered. I nibbled my lips, not able to unde rstand what I should say or do. she came here just to check on me. Tears filled my eyes but I controlled them, not wanting to show her that her words affected me. "Let's go from here. weather is not good for you an d baby's health" I mumbled and stood up, holding her h and to make her stand. That's when she yelped in pain. "Aah," I stopped and held her waist before she could fall. My eyes went to her legs, blood was oozing ou t of her feet maybe because she was walking on snow. "How did this happen?" I asked . She looked at me with half-o pen eyes and then at her legs. "I… I do---don't kn-- know" she stuttered b ecause of shivering. "what do you mean by you don't know? Blood is oozing out of your feet Aana" I screeched and picked her up in my arms. "How can someone be so careless?" I frowned and started walking towards the NGO. She rested her head on my chest. "A aro n" . " Hu h" . "I'm not able to breathe properly, '' she muttered. My eye s widened upon hearing her words. I look at her. She was br eathing heavily, holding my shirt and her eyes were closed. "Aana. keep your eyes open" I muttered and increased my speed but somewhere I know that I ca n't reach the NGO so soon. I have to take her to any nearest place where she can rest properly and above that, I have to make sure that she keeps her eyes open as can't trust her bp issues. "Aana" I called her. sh e opened her eyes only to find my eyes on her. "Keep your eyes open," I mu mbled. she nodded her head but again closed her eyes. "Aana" this time I grow led loudly

she start led and opened her eyes. "Keep your eyes open. For your baby. please" I request. she nodded her head, shivering badly in my arms. I looked around in search o f someplace and thankfully I found a hut which was a little far away from us. Thanks to my werewolf power, I can see things from far dist ances clearly which is not possible to view from a human's eyes. I looked at Aana who was shivering but this time she kept her eyes open… . "Aana can you sit on Rex's back. There is a hut a little distance away, if you sit on my Rex's back then we can reach there soon with wolf's speed. " I muttered. she nodded her head. I made her stand on the ground with the support of a nearby tree and then morphed into a wolf. Rex growled, indicating to her to sit on his back. she nodded and did as he asked and held hi s fur tightly so that she wouldn't fall when Rex picked up his speed. He started running towards the hut, keeping in mind Aana sitting on his back. He was so careful of her and the baby. After a few minutes of running, we finally reached the hut. Aana hoppe d down from Rex but because of pain, she fell to the ground, not able t o hold herself. I immediately morphed into a human and sat beside her. "Aana" I tapped on her cheeks when she was about to close her eyes. I pic ked her up in my arms and took her inside the hut. Then I made her sit on the ground, she rested her head on my chest and she was breathing heavily. "A ar on" . "Y ea h" . "I'm not able to feel anything below my waist" S he mumbled, widening my eyes. I looked at her fo ot injury from where blood was still oozing out. "What the hell? Blood is still coming out of your foot injury" I frowned and looked around to s ee a cloth or something to tie on her feet to stop blood but there was nothing. I looked at her carefully and then tore her sleeves to tie on her both feet. I tied the torn cloth on her feet. "Why is Alice not healing you? Has she gone insane? You're losing so much blood" I asked frustratingly. Not able to see her like this. "She is dead," she muttered. I looked at her abruptly an d stopped whatever I'm doing. "What?" I asked her o nce again, not able to believe what I heard. "Alice is dead. she couldn't handle the pain of your rejection and died on the day when you rejected us," sh e said in a cracked voice, turning my world upside down. I'm still not able to believe whether what I heard is correct or not. Rex howled in pain. The pain of losing a part of ourselves. The pain of losing our love
