Aaron Pov's . Everything was going great until Ivanna proposed. I was stunned to say anything. "I knew that you had a feeling for me and you're hesitating to confess it, that's why I'm doing it. I love you, Aaron" Ivanna said, widening my eyes. "Feeling. Are you serious? I haven't even looked at her like that" I thought and was about to deny her that's when my eyes went to Christian who was looking at our side only. Fuck. He must be thinking of me as an asshole who makes out with his girlfriend behind his back. He shared about his love towards Ivanna with me and just after one month, his girl is proposing to me. I'm sure, he is thinking that I have created the situation which made Ivanna think that I love her. "You had a boyfriend and still you proposed to me?" I asked and don't know why I started feeling disgusted

It's not that I'm judging her but as a Christian's best friend of Christian, I see her as a red flag for him. She opens her mouth to say something but then closes it. "If Stefan is not the one who asked you to take care of me then who did?" She asked after a while. I was about to tell him that it's Christian but then refused the idea because it's not me but him who should tell her about his feelings. "I'm sorry, I have to go. because of your proposal, I'm sure she might be misunderstanding me" I said and went behind Aana without waiting for Ivanna's response. I went towards the nearby room and found my girl crying sitting on the floor. Rex whimpered seeing our mate like this. "Pearl" She turned her head and glared at me with angered-filled eyes and wet eyelids. I sat beside her and raised my hand to wipe her tears. However, she shoved my hand, not letting me touch her. "You're misunderstanding me, Pearl. I don't love her nor did I have any idea that she would propose to me. believe me, Pearl. "Then why you're crying" . "I'm crying because I'm hurt. " I scrunched my eyebrow not getting what she meant. "I'm not mad at you because of Ivanna's proposal nor I doubt you. In fact, I'm not even mad but hurt. "Hurt?" I asked. "Yes, you hurt me by choosing silence instead of saying no.
