In Kara's ward. After having some porridge, Kara looked much better. There came a sudden knock on the door. She thought it was the nurse and didn't care. But when she heard the familiar voice, she instinctively frowned. "Kara, as soon as I heard that you are in the hospital, I came to see you. How are you feeling now? Are you feeling better?". Kara looked coldly at Sophia's hypocritical face and sneered. Obviously, Sophia came to see if she was dead and planned to make use of this opportunity to take her shares away. "I'm fine. I won't die!". As Kara spoke with heavy irony, Sophia frowned and found it strange. In her mind, this invalid was naïve and stupid. She used to believe whatever she said. And now she's learned to be sarcastic?. "Kara, you are ill. I know you must have no appetite. So, I bring the soup to you right after finishing cooking in the morning. Eat it while it's warm. Kara glanced at the insulated lunch box in her hand and said indifferently, "I don't need it. Ignoring her refusal, Sophia made a small bowl of soup to her. "Kara, it's nutritious and tastes good. Come on and have a try. With its familiar scent, Kara could tell it was the cook in her family who made it. She looked at the thick soup and sneered. Sophia just blatantly lied about it. How ridiculous!. However, what Sophia had said occurred to Kara. Since Sophia wanted to kill her, the soup probably was poisonous

"I'm not disabled. I can eat it by myself. When she reached out to take the bowl, Sophia was happy. Without thinking further, she let go of it. At this p oint, Will and James arrived. Standing outside the ward, th ey could hear the talk between Kar a and Sophia. James looked sullen. When he was about t o push open the door and enter, Will stopped him. "Don't you want t o see what your little girl is going to do?" . James paused and stared at Kara. She was frowning, looking innocent. H e wondered how she would deal with it. In the ward, Kara did not suspect Sophia at first. But when she found that Sophia had been staring at the bowl in her hand, she was puzzled. Why did So phia want her t o eat the soup? . All of a s udden, there ca me a loud sound. The bowl hit Sophia 's feet, and the hot sou p was spilt all over her. " You bi t. Sophia was shocked and stepped backward. Her legs hurt and her trousers got dirty. She was so angry that she wanted to strangle Kara. However, when she looked up at Kara' s apologetic face, she gritted her teeth and controlled herself from losing temper. "I've been lying on the bed for days, and my hands are feeble . Aunty Sophia, are you alright?" . Kara innocently said with a shrug. Given Sophia was flattering rather than angry, Kara was even more certain that there was something wrong with the soup. "It's fine. You better l ie on the bed. I'll go and get another bowl from the nurse

James was not surprised by Kara's behavior. She was not tol erant to people she didn't like. He pushed op en the door and w ent into the ward. He said in a cold voice, "Don't bother. Hearing a man's husky voice, Sophi a turned around in confusion. Then, she saw two tall men walking into the ward. One of them was dressed in a white coat, with a gentle smile on his face a nd a badge on his chest. He was a doctor. The other man looked familiar. As he h ad a gloomy expression and icy gaze, Sophia didn't dare to look him in the eyes. She was guilty an d afraid that he would see through her plot. She tried her best to calm herself down and raise d her chin to look arrogant. "Who are you? I'm Kara's aunt. I'll take care of her. Y ou better hurry up and leave. "That's exactl y why I can't let yo u get close to her!" . James sneered and stared at her with his sharp e yes. Being glared at by him, Sophia couldn't help but feel guilty. In an instant, she failed to keep calm. She suddenly tho ught of something and looked down in fear. Will picked up the lunch box, smelled and tasted the soup in it. A nd his gentle eyes became cold soon. He turned round and nodded at James. Then, J ames became more furious. "Aunty Sophia, this is my Uncle James. His name is James Hemming, and he is the president of the SA Group!" . Kara lifted her fac e. As James was here, Kar a was not afraid anymore. She pulled James b y the arm and proudly i ntroduced him to Sophia
